When we realized that Women in our communities had been spiritually, socially and economically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic both at work and at home causing anxiety and depression but also making them feel worthlessness. Many families been broken, divorced and children left to live as step children and with many women becoming desperate in life.
We felt that this was the right time to charge and encourage women in our society to stay focused and committed in the race. We equally wanted to celebrate a woman but also edify her to run her race with perseverance, humility, endurance, sacrifice, and persistence as quoted;
“Hebrew 12:1 – Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us”
We thus organized a 2 days women summit that took place on the 3rd & 4th of December 2021 in Busige cell, Namisambya 11, Kamuli Municipality. The event shall started at exactly 9:00am with great and anointed women ministers from within and outside the country attracting over 300 women participants who were fed, and those that travelled from far accomodated.
We thank God for the edification that has todate been testified on by many of the women who participated.
