YOUTH FOR CHARITY MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL (YOFOCHM) Is a Christian ministry founded in 2008 and registered in Uganda as a Non-Governmental Organization. The mission of our ministry is to help young people find value in society and for God.

We empower young people and impact communities in Uganda by addressing their social and spiritual challenges i.e. Immorality, Gender Inequalities, unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, hunger, sickness, etc.

Our intervention has been through setting up and implementing several programs/projects that target children, youths and the most vulnerable in our communities such as Evangelism, Leadership, Charity, Children Support programs, Girl/Women empowerment programs, Skills training and Talent development in schools and communities in Uganda. And as a result, we have raised up a God fearing youth generation that equally standup in their communities to participate in the development of their society.

Among other programs / projects (listed below), we run a skills training and child care center in Namisambya, Kamuli District. The center accommodates needy children and girl victims of gender inequalities in our society who benefit from our skilling programs, education support programs (providing school basic needs), giving out clothes, food, sanitary kits and others. All these programs are helping us lift Jesus in communities, prepare and develop our generation into great disciples for the kingdom.

Other programs / projects include:

1). Evangelism which is the main arm of our ministry. We carryout door to door, street, school, hospital and prison evangelistic outreaches.

2). Girl/Women empowerment programs currently focusing more on addressing the needs of young girls and women who are victims of gender inequalities in our society. Through these programs, we have setup projects that lobby for the education of girls and provide hygiene supplies (sanitary pads) to needy girls in needy communities to help them go through their menstruation days safe and stay in school.

3). Children Support programs that care for the needy and orphaned children in the community through education sponsorships and welfare support. We host a few at our center and majorities are supported at their respective homes. Majority of the children are either supported by / living with their single mothers or by their grandparents. We equally seek individual sponsors who can take up one or two our supported children as foster parents.

4). Leadership programs that aim at developing lifelong leadership into young people. Through this program, we hold mini and a mega leadership camp called: Equip the Youth Camp Africa.

5). Talent development: We nurture and support God given talents among young people.
Our ministry helps young people including children discover and develop their talents in music, dance and drama. We also have a sports program for boys and girls who train at the center in football, netball and volleyball respectively.
